School Day
Children should arrive at school for 8.40 a.m. when the doors are opened and staff are available to supervise them. Registration starts at 8.50 am; children should be at their desks by this time. It is most important that children are consistently punctual in their attendance.

Assembly - including Collective Worship: 8:55 - 9.15 am
Lesson 1: 9.15-10.15 am
Break: 10.15-10:30 am
Lesson 2: 10.30 -11.30 am
Lesson 3: 11.30 -12.30 pm
Lunch break: 12.30 - 1.30 pm
Registration: 1:30 - 1:35 pm
Lesson 4: 1.35 - 2.30 pm
Lesson 5: 2.30 - 3.30pm
During lunchtime, responsibility for supervision rests with the Headteacher and supervisory assistants including midday supervisors and teaching assistants, who are on duty throughout.
The school office is normally open from 8.30 am until 4.30 pm.
In the event that a parent is late collecting their child after the school day, the child should return, report to the office and wait inside the school entrance hall.
Teaching time
The time spent in school by children is 5 hours 40 minutes per day which includes mid-morning break but excludes lunchtime.
Collective worship, registration and mid morning break account for 45 minutes daily.
The time committed to teaching National Curriculum subjects and Religious Education is 4 hours 55 minutes per day, 24 hours 35 minutes per week, 934.10 hours per year.
